NYT Magazine Goes Green

Though doubtless a post or three will be based on articles from it, I wanted to mention that this week’s New York Times Magazine is “The Green Issue,” featuring seven ways you can live a greener life.  Looks to be good stuff, check it out. – J

Toxic 100

The Political Economic Research Institute released their “Toxic 100“–a list of the 100 biggest corporate polluters in the United States. You can see a ranked list of the major culprits here. -T

CFL’s

I’ve had difficulty switching all of my lamps to Compact Fluorescent Light bulbs (CFLs), because I prefer warm, yellow light.  Well, apparently I’m just not using the right CFLs: this Popular Mechanics test compares 7 CFLs against an incandescent bulb for color, brightness, etc.  Good stuff -T
