Thanks for sharing this great recipe with us, my kids couldn't have enough of that ginger bread. But the best gift I ever got for Christmas were two artificial Christmas trees and decorations for them. They helped us spend some quality family time while decorating them and the forest did not have to be harmed.

I have always thought of Christmas time, when it has come round, as a good time; a kind, forgiving, charitable time; the only time I know of, in the long calendar of the year, when men and women seem by one consent to open their shut-up hearts freely around a Red Christmas Tree, and to think of people below them as if they really were fellow passengers to the grave, and not another race of creatures bound on other journeys.

Well, Christmas is near and we have the turkey bought. The kids have written their santa lists and everything is pretty much done and ready. So thank you for the recipe - they adore gingerbread, but I have never tried to make it myself. Wish me luck!
