Satellite Challenge #12

Sorry about the last challenge, I definitely dropped the ball there.  Rest assured that I’ve thoroughly researched this one.

You know the drill: name, city, country, and relevence.  Have at it, and happy Saturday.

[Update (4/7/08): Hints after the jump.]

[Update 2: Solved.]

Hints:

  1. It is located in Europe.
  2. It is the headquarters of an organization.

  • Good stuff, Sam. Well done.
  • You faked me out. It's NATO/OTAN HQ in Brussels, Belgium - I thought of this, but I was looking in Bucharest due to the recent meeting ... which answers the question of why it's important.
  • Alright, hints are up. Should make it pretty easy...?
  • It does not, Sam, but that would have been a good one.
  • Does it have anything to do with the people disrupting the Olympic Torch run?
  • Not a bad guess, Brika, but unfortunately that's not it. The theme is usually something related to change OR something that's recently been in the news. The change or news event doesn't necessarily have to have taken place at the specific location, but it will be directly related to it somehow.

This one is more a news-related than a change-related challenge. I'll have some hints up sometime soon.
  • Brika
Looks like a mixuse neighborhood with houses and offices... in DC? Obama's campaign headquarters? And if I'm totally off, what are the "standard themes" to the images you choose? Must be about change? (twenty questions, I know) Hope you are doing well!!!
