We have a winner. Nice work.

Another crazy fact about the University of Phoenix stadium:

According to my friend Matt, who is really the instigator behind this particular challenge, they apparently roll the field out of the stadium from time to time in order to give it full exposure to sunlight. Apparently, a big-A sunroof isn't enough, so they have the whole field on some sort of roller/conveyor system. And I believe the image above shows that in action.

Ok, I admit that I had to look up the official names of the college stadiums (seriously, you should only know those if you support the school) but I knew all the significances.

The first is Michigan Stadium...where Tom Brady spent two years waiting for his turn to play and then two years going largely unnoticed before he morphed into the football god he is today. I'm not even a Patriots fan.

The second is Vaught-Hemingway Stadium....the Old Miss stadium, clearly. Eli Manning's alma mater (and also his dad Archie's!)

The third, then, is clearly the University of Phoenix Stadium where the Eli Manning and the Giants pulled the all time upset last night and ended the Tom Brady and the Patriots' run at the first ever 19-0 season. Phew. I heard from the crazy French announcers last night, who thought it was the craziest thing ever, that it's air-conditioned. I mean, it is in Phoenix.

Yay!

i have no idea what you said in return (or what i said in french, though I'm pretty sure I spelled it incorrectly). But I actually don't know the answer and needed to over-compensate to keep my satellite-challenge reputation intact. It's up to the readers on this one.
