I don’t mean to dominate this blog with satellite challenges, but several of us have been overwhelmed with our real jobs recently (I’m about to head into work right now, actually) and so”legit” posting has been a little light. We apologize, and we’ll have some fresh content for you shortly. Things will definitely pick up next week, and we’ll have some great guest posts and that new feature I was talking about soon. Hang in there.
Anyway, smarties. I gave you a few warm ups. Now it’s game time. This is another challenge in three images, but there’s only one answer. Each successive image just zooms in a little more on the area of interest.
The questions are these:
- What city and state is this site located in?
- What is the specific name of the area in question
- What happened here, and what was the date? I’m sure a lot of things happened here, but what is the most important one?
Remember you can click on each image below to zoom in. Note also that while the first two images are oriented to the North, I rotated the orienation of the third image to face West in order to get as zoomed in as possible on the important area(s).
Proceed.
[Update: Wow. WOW. This challenged just got served by none other than my my (brilliant) mom. And within like 20 minutes of me putting it up. Congrats to her! If you think you have an idea for a tough challenge, let me know... because obviously I'm making it too easy?]
